Shannon-Morrison Pretty as it was impressive, was the ceremony at Our Lady of Lourdes church in Keswick on Tuesday morning, January 17, by which the lives and fortunes of Mary Teresa Shannon and Forrest James Morrison were forever united. The nuptial mass was celebrated by Rev. Thomas Sheehy and a large number of friends and relatives were present. The bridal party entered the church to the strains of a wedding march played by Mrs. Amanda Harris, and the choir rendered several appropriate hymns during mass. The bride was richly gowned in rose colored flat crepe with hat to match. She was attended by her sister Miss Regina Shannon, who was dressed in blue flat crepe with hat to match. The office of best man was filled by Joseph Shannon, a brother of the bride. Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride for the immediate families. The decorations were of rose and blue, and a three course dinner was served by the Misses Ellavene Greene, Rita Brady, Clara Gries and Delphia Brady. The bride is the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Shannon. A charming young lady with many accomplishments amply fit her to preside over a happy home. The groom is the son of Ed Morrison, and is an industrious young farmer endowed with the ability and ambition to succeed. The happy couple will be at home on a farm northeast of Keswick.
