Miss Marietta Wilfawn, Lyman Morrison Marry here on Wednesday Miss Marietta Wilfawn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Wilfawn of near Bloomfield, became the bride of Lyman Morrison, son of Mrs. Forrest Morrison of Sigourney, in a pretty wedding at Saint Marys church here last Wednesday, morning at 10 oclock. The Rev. J. M. Mackin officiated at the double ring ceremony. The bride wore a white satin wedding gown with train and carried a bouquet of red roses. She was attended by her sister, Miss Marilyn Wilfawn, who wore a blue floor length frock. Merle Morrison of Sigourney, brother of the bridegroom, attended him as best man. Mr. and Mrs. Morrison will be at home in Ottumwa, where the former is employed by John Morrell and Company and Mrs. Morrison is a telephone operator. The double ring ceremony was read by the Father Mackin at 10:00 oclock. The bride chose for her wedding a white satin gown with a long formal train and a veil of matching satin and net. Her jewelry was a strand of pearls, a gift from the bridegroom. She carried a bouquet of red roses. Miss Marilyn Wilfawn, served her sister as her maid of honor and wore a light blue formal of nylon net taffeta and a corsage of red roses. Merle Morrison, brother of the bridegroom, served as best man. Ushers were Dwight Colliver and Keith Seiwert of Sigourney. Mrs. Morrison is a graduate of The Bloomfield High School with the class of 1949 and is employed at the Bell Telephone Company in Ottumwa.
