Main-Morrison The James Main home was the scene of a simple but beautiful wedding Thursday morning, June 4, 1931, when the youngest daughter, Miss Ada, became the bride of Edward Earl Morrison of this city. Reverend W.A. Johnson of the Methodist church officiating. The bride wore a princess gown of pink embroidered net with picture hat to match and a corsage of roses. This prominent young couple needs no introduction to our readers. The bride has grown to womanhood in our midst, having received her high school education here and later graduating from South Dakota State college. For the past two years she has been an instructor in the high school at Teril, Iowa. Mr. Morrison came to us from Webster, Ia., and is the son of E.E. Morrison, of that place. He is a graduate of Iowa State college and during the past year has been an instructor in our local high school. A delightful three course wedding breakfast was served following the ceremony, by the Misses Leota Main, sister of the bride and Bonita Beck of Cherokee, Iowa. The couple left immediately by motor for a brief honey-moon and later the groom will attend summer school at Ames, Ia. Mr. And Mrs. Morrison will be at home to their many friends after August 13 in their new home at Whiting, Iowa, where Mr. Morrison will teach. -- Taken from the Hartford, S.D., herald.
