Wilkerson Service Services for William H. Wilkerson, 82, of North English, will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the First Christian Church in North English, Military rites will be held at the North English Cemetery. The Best Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born July 12, 1894, in Virginia and lived in the North English area for more than 50 years. He was veteran of the Mexican Border War and a member of the 34th Division in France in World War I. Survivors include seven sons, Edward of Ottumwa, Leonard, Charles and Robert, all of North English, Dean of Tampa, Fla., Norman of Iowa City and LaVern of Fort Worth, Tex.; two daughters, Frances Littrell of North English and Deloris Wardenburg of Williamsburg; and several grand-children and great-grandchildren Died 19 Oct., 1976 No credits. He was born in North English to William and Hattie Wilkerson. He retired from the military. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; four children; 10 grandchildren; six brothers, Ed of Ottumwa, Laverne of Texas and Leonard, Norman, Charles and Robert of North English; and two sisters, Frances Littrel of North English and Delores Wardenburg of Williamsburg.
