A memorial Mass will be 5:30 p.m. Friday in St. Joseph's Catholic
Church, DeWitt, for Mrs. Alyce W. Burke, 75, formerly of DeWitt. She
died June 23 in Yuma, Ariz., where she resided for many years. Burial
of the cremains will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. The funeral was held
in Yuma. Hanrahan Funeral Home, DeWitt, was in charge of local
arrangements. Mrs. Burke was born in Clinton County to Mr. and
Mrs. Richard Welsh. She maried Ray Burke in Cedar Rapids. Surivivors
include two sisters, Mrs. Eve Wenzlick of Seattle, Wash., and
Geraldine Welsh of Yuma. She was preceded in death by her husband, a
sister and two brothers.
