Recent Deaths Chuck Welsh Chuck Welsh, 63, of Waukegan, died on Friday, June 7, 2002 at home. Chuck was born August 20, 1938 in Clinton, Iowa, came to Lake County in 1984, moving to Waukegan seven years ago. He was a member of Our Lady of Humility Church of Beach Park where he served as an Usher. He was Regional Sales Manager in the office equipment industry and more recently worked for St. Therese Hospital in transportation for the Safety and Security Department. He also belonged to Waukegan Chapter of Mended Hearts, coached Little League Baseball for many years and was an avid fan of the Cubs, Iowa Hawkeyes and the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame. Survivors include his wife, Veronica Caes Welsh, whom he married on June 3, 1961 in Wilton Junction, Iowa; four children, Michelle (Steve) Lentz of Mundelein, Illinois, David (Shannon) Welsh of Laguna Niguel, California, John (Kathy) Welsh of Round Lake Heights, Illinois and Michael (T.B.A.) Welsh of Wadsworth; eleven grandchildren, Warren, Amy, Patrick, Anna and John Lentz, Steven and Jennifer Welsh; Emily, Johnathan and Kelly Welsh; and two brothers, Richard (Janice) Welsh of Rio Vista, California and Gary (Judy) Walsh of Manhattan, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Raymond and Evelyn Mooney Welsh. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, June 11, 2002 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Humility Church, 10655 W. Wadsworth Road, Beach Park, with Rev. David Mulvihill officiating. Interment will follow at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville.
