Honored Dead Dr. Caleb Scott Dr. Caleb Scott was born in Wayne County, Ind., Oct 2, 1821; died Oct. 3, 1911, aged 90 years and 1 day. He practiced medicine for sixty years, all in White County, Ind., with the exception of one year in Homer, Ill. He was thrice married and reared a large family, the majority of whom are living and well settled in life. He united with the Christian Church when a mere boy. He served as elder for many years. At the time of his death he was a member of the Cullen Crek Christian Church, in which he had labored for many years. His was indeed an unselfish life, characterized by many good deeds. Married to Dr. Caleb Scott, Jan. 10, 1905; died at her home near Monticello, Ind., Dec. 1, 1905. She was a good woman, a devoted mother and wife and a Christian for more than half a century. A. W.
