WILLIAM L. KENT -- Chelsea William L. Kent, 104, died Friday, October 5, 2007 at the Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center following a short illness. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at the Chelsea United Methodist Church by Rev. Charles Johnson. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Belle Plaine. Friends may call at the Hrabak Funeral Home in Belle Plaine Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. where a Masonic service will be held following visitation, and on Wednesday after 12 noon at the Methodist Church in Chelsea. He is survived by his wife, Alice; son, Conrad (Margarita) Kent of Delaware, Ohio; daughter, Marsha Kent Schiffl of Munich, Germany; grandchildren, Benjamin and Juliane Schiffl of Munich, Germany. He was the Agent for the Chicago-Northwestern Railroad in Des Moines from 1938 to 1968. He was an elder at the University Christian Church and a Boy Scout Leader.
