SCOTT, ALEXANDER, SR: Born October, 1762 Hardy co. VA, died 1844 Cass
co. Ind. Married Sarah______ Born 1760-62, ?rd, VA, died 11, October,
1840 Cass Co. IN.  Service during the Revolutionary War, he was a
Private and a spy in a Company commanded by Captain Craven in 1780.
Later he volunteered and served under Captain Fisher; was at Yorktown
and assisted in guarding 700 Hessions at Winchester Barracks.  He saw
the surrender of Cornwallis.

Jackson Co. IN m. Nancy____. Service: During the Revolutionary War
between the American Colonists and the English, he was First Sargeant
in Moses Hutton's Company of VA troops.  Orderly in Michael Stumps
Rifle Company and General Wayne's troops.
