Service during the Revolutionary War, he was a Private and a spy in a Company commanded by Captain Craven in 1780. Later he volunteered and served under Captain Fisher; was at Yorktown and assisted in guarding 700 Hessions at Winchester Barracks. He saw the surrender of Cornwallis. CHILDREN: Pollie, m.
