Lloyd A. Sherwood Lloyd A. Sherwood, age 74, of Austin, has unexpectedly joined our heavenly father on Thursday evening, August 24, 2006. He was born on July 19, 1932, in Royal Oaks, Michigan, and he attended the University of Michigan. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War and played Air Force football. He was a talented man who had a passion for telling jokes, playing golf, baseball and playing poker. He was also a computer software engineer and in his retirement he worked for the IRS. He was a good teacher who took pride in teaching family, whether they wanted it or not. He was generous with his time and love, and had a way of making every child feel special and important. He always gave 200%, was very honest, spontaneous, and most of all, fun-loving. Lloyd had a way of livening up any family gathering with his unique style of dancing. Family knew they could go to him with their problems knowing that he would be non-judgemental. Lloyd was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. We all love him and miss him dearly. Lloyd was married for 25 years to his loving and supporting wife, Elizabeth. His beloved and loyal dog, Belle, will also miss him dearly. Mr. Sherwood is also survived by his sister, Nardah Reed of Louisville, Mississippi; four daughters, Robbin Pulido, Linda Bates, Robin Stevens and Rhonda Lofendo; sons-in-law, Fred Pulido and Michael Bates; and seven grandchildren, Nichole, Samantha, Bubba, Travis, Jordan, Anthony, and Danielle.
