			   LOWELL J SILVARA

Lowell J Silvara, 66, Blue Springs, died Monday at the home. He was
born in West Chester Iowa, and has lived in this area 30 years.
Mr. Silvara was a tree surgeon here for the Davey Tree Expert Company
of Ohio, 22 years before he retired in 1969. He was a member of the
Plaza Heights Baptist Church, Blue Springs. He leaves his wife,
Mrs. Ava V Silvara of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Carol Wilhoit,
Helena, Mo, and Mrs. Linda Record, Jarrettsville, Md; two brothers,
Melvin Silvara, Oroville, Ca.; and Raymond Silvara, Oswego, Ks.; two
sisters, Mrs. Marguerite Birkes, Montezuma, Ks., and Mrs. Harriett
Housman, Columbus Ks., and six grandchildren. Services will be at 2:30
pm Thursday at the Carson Independence Chapel, burial in Flora Hills
Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 pm tonight at the chapel.
