marriage of their daughter, Chris to Tim Shannon, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Francis Shannon of What Cheer.  The bride-elect is a 1990 graduate of
Oskaloosa Senior High School. The groom-elect is a 1989 graduate of
Tri-County High School and a 1990 graduate of Universal Technical
Institute, Phoenix, Ariz. A November 16 Wedding is planned at the
Good News Chapel in Oskaloosa. Tim is the grandson of Mrs. Margaret
Shannon of Sigourney.

daughter, Katelyn Ann and a son, Stephen James, born November 9 at the
Ottumwa Regional Hospital.

Grandparents are Francis and Grace Shannon of What Cheer and Jim and
Barb Ide of Oskaloosa.

		       Shannon, Thomas engaged Sue Shannon and Eric
Thomas, both of Oklahoma City , Okla., are happy to announce their
engagement and upcoming marriage.

Sue is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Don Shannon of Houghton, Iowa. She
is a 1989 graduate of Marquette High School and a 1994 graduate of
Mount Mercy College. She is currently working as a registered nurse
and assistant nurse manager at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, OPkla.

Eric is the son of Mrs. Geralyn Thomas of Oklahoma City, Okla. He is a
1989 graduate of Mount Saint Mary High School and a 1993 graduate of
the University of Oklahoma. He is currently working at Professional
Office Management and is pursuing a Master's of Business
Administration in health management.

Their wedding is planned for 7:30 in the evening on June 17, 1995 at
St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Edmond, Okla. After their
honeymoon in Cancun, the couple will reside in Oklahoma City, Okla.
