The funeral of Jere Vincent Shannon, 76 years old, retired farmer, 
who died yesterday, will be conducted tomorrow at 1 oclock at 
Heaton-Begole & Bowmans chapel by the Rev. John W. Minor.  
Burial will be at Rochester, MO.

			 Jere Vincent Shannon

Jere Vincent Shannon, 76 year old retired farmer, Rochester, died
yesterday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Kutcha Ashworth, 
1716 Seneca Street. Besides the daughter at whose home he died, he is
survived by another daughter, Mrs. Julia Gabhart, Jefferson City; a
son, Vincent Shannon Duluth, Minn.; a sister, Mrs. Harry M. Smith,
DeWitt, Iowa, and 11 grandchildren. The body is at Heaton-Begole &
Bowmans Mortuary.
