Judy E. Kretzer 1946-2003 SAVANNAH, Mo. --- Judy Eileen (Ashworth) Kretzer, 57, Savannah, Mo., passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2003, in Morrison, Colo. Born April 29, 1946, in St. Joseph, Mo., Mrs. Kretzer was a 1964 graduate of Central High School and a graduate of Platt Business College. She was a member of New Home Baptist Church and a YWCA Support Group. She worked as a checker at King's Soopers in Commerce City, Colo. Judy was a caring and loving person. Her family and friends meant the world to her. Judy loved to laugh and make others laugh too. She married Jerry Lee Kretzer, Sr. on June 26, 1964 in St. Joseph, Mo. They were married 39 years this June. He survives of the home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Neil M. and Kutucha Rose (Shannon) Ashworth; one brother, Jerry Ashworth and one sister, Barbara Jimenez. Other survivors include two sons, Jerry L. Kretzer Jr. and his wife, Keri Anderson Kretzer, Albuquerque, N.M. and James I. Kretzer, Savannah, Mo.; granddaughter, Kutucha Rodriguez and husband, Jose, Denver, Colo.; granddaughters Cassandra and Felicia Kretzer, Strasburg, Colo.; grandsons, John Neil and Nicholas Kretzer, St. Joseph, Mo.; great-grandson, Julian Jose Rodriguez, Denver, Co.; a step-granddaughter, Katherine McGee, Washington, D.C.; one brother, Lyle Ashworth, Platte City, Mo.; and four sisters, Kay Holt, Salisbury, Mo., Julie Nold, Cosby, Mo., Lois Berniece Young, and Peggy Cunning, both of St. Joseph, Mo.; and mother-in-law, Marjorie Hidgon, St. Joseph, Mo. Service: 11 a.m. Thursday at the Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held after 9 a.m. Tuesday, at the Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel, where the family will receive friends 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. Memorials to: YWCA Women's Support Group.
