Deaths Clinton Charles J. Maus Charles J. Maus, 64, 721 Park Pl., died at 11:55 p.m. Monday in Mercy hospital where he had been a patient since Aug. 9. Funeral services will be held Thursday, with prayer service at 9:30 a.m. in the Delaney funeral home followed by requiem mass at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick's church. Members of St. Patrick's parish will meet at 7:30 p.m. today for recitation of the rosary. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Cleve Cleveland, Ralph A. Eagen, Robert G Grader, Louis Hansen, Richard F. Scanlon and Norma O. Sivertsen. Charles John Maus was born June 22, 1903 in Clinton, the son of Conrad and Mary Rose Cannan Maus. He was educated in Clinton schools. He married Irene Shannon Sept. 29, 1962. Mr. Maus was employed by Clinton Corn Processing for 40 years, retiring in 1963. He was a member of St. Patrick's church, the 25 Year club of Clinton Corn Processing Co., Clinton Lodge No. 199 B.P.O. Elks and Lodge No. 363 Loyal Order of the Moose. He is survived by his wife, two aunts, two nieces and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, on uncle and one aunt.
