Mr. and Mrs. John Riedesel of DeWitt announce the engagement of their
daughter, Jennifer Jo, to Richard M.  McDermott. He is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Leonard McDermott of Petersville.  An Oct. 27 wedding is
being planned at 6 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, DeWitt. All
relatives and friends are invited to attend the wedding and reception
with a dance to follow at the DeWitt 4-H Auditorium.  The bride-elect
graduated from Central Community High School, DeWitt and is employed
at Ennis Business Forms, DeWitt.  Her fiance is a graduate of Central
Community High School and Kirkwood Community College, Cedar Rapids. He
is employed as the local Mac Tool distributor.
