Joanne McDonald, Tom Evans engaged

Mr. and Mrs. Ambrose McDonald of DeWitt announce the engagement and
approaching marriage of their daughter, Joanne, to Tom Evans, son of
Mr. Omer Evans of Hampton.

The wedding will take place Saturday, Aug. 11, at 2 p.m. in
St. Joseph's Catholic Church, DeWitt.

A reception will be held at the Calco Building in Calamus with a dance
following in the same location.

The bride-elect is a graduate of the University of Iowa and is
presently a family counselor for Families of Northeast Iowa in
Maquoketa.

Her fiance is a graduate of the University of Norther Iowa and is a
business education teacher at Maquoketa High School.
