Shannon, Michael J.

Michael J. Shannon, 57, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away Saturday, June 17,
2006, in the Emergency Room of Community Hospitals & Wellness Centers,
Bryan. Mr. Shannon was a graduate of Iowa State University and an
engineer for TGM, Inc. of Bryan. He attended the Christian Family
Fellowship, was a member of the Williams County Historical Society,
the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, the Rapid Photoyping
Association, and Sigma Pi Fraternity and enjoyed playing golf,
softball and bowling.

Michael was born August 20, 1948, in Davenport, Iowa, the son of
Violet (Grimmer) and Virgil J. Shannon. On July 17, 1982, he married
Maria Poorman in Denton, Texas, and she survives.

Surviving Mr. Shannon is his mother of St. Petersburg, Florida; sons,
Don Virgil Shannon, of Carrollton, Texas, Michael Shannon, Jr., of
Troy, Ohio, Ron Shannon, of Bryan, and Tony Shannon, of Bryan;
brothers, Dr. Bob (Elaine) Shannon, of La Canada, California, and Thom
(Gina) Shannon, of Benieia, California; one sister, Patricia (Tom)
Horton, of Ames, Iowa; and nieces and nephews.

Memorial services for Mr. Michael J. Shannon were June 21, 2006, at
First Lutheran Church, Bryan.
