BALL, Robert J.

CLINTON-The funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday in Pape Funeral Home for
Robert J. Ball, 77, of Eagle Point Nursing Home and Rehabilitation
Center.

He died Friday in the home.

The Rev. Wayne Brinkmann of St. John Lutheran Church will
officiate. Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday in the funeral
Home.  Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Brian Johnson, Eric and Richard Spittler and
Elijah Nicholas and Robert Ball.

Honorary pallbearers will be his niece, Rosie Endersbe.

He was born Aug 9, 1920, in Clinton, to Joseph and Margaret Monahan
Ball. He married Joyce Marx, Feb 16, 1952, in Clinton.

He attended the Clinton schools and later attended school in Chicago.

He had been employed in the starch plant with Clinton Corn Processing
for 34 years.

He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife; four sons, Danny, David, Perry and Dennis
Ball, all of Clinton; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and
several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two infant brothers.

Death date: July 31 1998.
