1. Warner¹ Metcalf was born circa 1762 in Pee Dee River, Rutherford County, NC, and died September 30, 1835 in Rutherford County, NC. He married Elizabeth Kilpatrick April 12, 1785 in Lincoln County, NC. Children of Warner Metcalf and Elizabeth Kilpatrick are:

6 v. Mary P. Metcalf, born March 12, 1792 in NC; died July 8, 1861 in Rutherford County, NC; buried at Lynch Cemetery, Pleasant Hill, Rutherford County, NC. She married James Kilpatrick January 7, 1809 in Rutherford County, NC.

7 vi. Katherine "Kate" Metcalf, born 1801; died 1874.

8 vii. Joseph Simpson Metcalf, born 1804; died 1863. He married (1) Sophia Henson. He married (2) Mary Boles.

9 viii. Andrew Metcalf, born 1808.

2. Elizabeth "Betsy"² Metcalf (Warner¹) was born June 25, 1794 in NC, and died May 13, 1873 in DeKalb County, AL. She married William E. Driskill December 16, 1813 in Rutherford County, NC, son of John F. Driskill. Children of Elizabeth Metcalf and William Driskill are:

10 i. Lucinda³ Driskell, born October 15, 1833 in Monroe County, GA; died in AR? She married Shirley Maddox circa 1857.

11 ii. Minerva Adeline Driskell, born February 10, 1815 in Rutherford County, NC; died February 10, 1865. She married Stephen Jackson Tyner October 6, 1836.

12 iii. Warner Lewis Driskell, born November 21, 1816; died May 27, 1907 in Trion, Chatooga County, GA. He married Rebecca Emily Beaty October 17, 1837 in DeKalb County, AL.

13 iv. Toliver Simpson Driskell, born March 29, 1819. He married Elizabeth Ann Carr.

14 v. Mary C. Driskell, born July 5, 1821.

15 vi. Narcissa Elizabeth Driskell, born June 11, 1823.

16 vii. Nancy E. Driskell, born October 28, 1825.

17 viii. William Allen Driskell, born February 28, 1828. He married Frances Maddox December 10, 1850 in Monroe County, GA.

18 ix. Malissa J. Driskell, born June 12, 1830.

19 x. Andrew Jackson Driskell, born February 13, 1836.

20 xi. Charles D. George Driskell, born April 19, 1842 in DeKalb County, AL. He married Sarah J. Darnaby.
