Neal BREWER, Baptist Minister, will be in charge. Mr. BRADSHAW had been sick for years. He was born at Mt. Ida, AR on February 25, 1870, son of Mr. and Mrs. John BRADSHAW. He was a member of the Arkadelphia Christian Church. His wife, who survives, was the former Miss Vicie HARVENSON [HARBISON] and they were the parents of five children, all of whom survive: Mrs. Jesse JOHNSON, Curtis, AR; Mrs. Sam WATERS, Gurdon, AR; John Jr., Claude, and Atlas BRADSHAW, Gum Springs, AR. John H. BRADSHAW, 85, of Gum Springs, AR died Sunday at the Twin Rivers Medical Center. He was a lifelong resident of Clark County, Arkansas, a retired farmer and timberman, and a member of the Gum Springs Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Perley MADDOX BRADSHAW, two sons: James BRADSHAW of Arkadelphia, AR and George Matt BRADSHAW of Gurdon, AR. Four daughters: Rose COSTON of Gurdon, AR; Ruth EASTLAND of Torrance, CA; Ora PATTON of Arkadelphia, AR; and Betty ALLEN of Bismark, AR. She was born Oct. 13, 1900 in Gurdon, daughter of the late John Thomas and Ivy JOHNSON MADDOX. She was a homemaker and a member of Gum Springs Baptist Church. She was the widow of John Henry BRADSHAW. Survivors include: Two sons, Johnny James BRADSHAW of Arkadelphia and George Matt BRADSHAW of Hot Springs; four daughters, Betty ALLEN of Arkadelphia, Rose COSTON of Gurdon, Ruth EASTLAND of Torrance, Calif., and Ora PATTON of Gum Springs; and 14 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren. He lived in the South Bay 32 years. Mr. COOPER was employed by the Long Beach Naval Shipyard. "JOHN KELLER, 65, RETIRED ARMY OFFICER" When John KELLER joined the National Guard in 1935, he was a 17-year-old East High School student who had no intentions of beginning a career in the military, friends and family say. "He decided to join so he could start a National Guard basketball team in the armory," said Mr. KELLER's younger brother, Gerard KELLER of Orange City, FL. "Sports was our main life then." But Mr. KELLER and his National Guard unit were called to duty in the Pacific in 1940 and he remained in the Army until 1960, promoted from National Guard private to the rank of Army lieutenant colonel. Mr. KELLER survived 3 1/2 years of fighting in the Pacific during World War II and a sting at a military adviser in Korea during the Korean War. He died December 17 [1983] at age 65 after open heart surgery at a hospital in Colorado Springs, CO. Sports were always an important part of Mr. KELLER's life, his brother said. The brothers were co-captains of the varsity basketball team at East High School. Mr. KELLER graduated from East High in 1938. "He was a big fellow, 6-foot-4, and I was 6-foot-1," KELLER said. "He'd play center and I'd play forward." Both men belonged to the same National Guard unit and were called together to active duty in World War II. Mr. KELLER came to Rochester from Corning when he was 8 years old and grew up in homes on the city's west side and on Union Street near University Avenue. In 1940, he married his high school girlfriend, Ethel DONLON, and after the end of World War II the couple lived at Army posts in California and Washington. Mr. KELLER received several military decorations for his service in World War II and Korea, including the Bronze Star. He fought in World War II campaigns in Guadalcanal and the Philippine Islands. Mr. KELLER left the Army after 20 years for a job as head of security at a large office building in Los Angeles owned by the Atlantic Richfield Co. (ARCO), his widow said. The couple moved to Colorado Springs, CO in 1979 after Mr. KELLER retired from ARCO. Besides his wife and brother, Mr. KELLER is survived by a son, Lynn F. KELLER of Chandler, AZ; a daughter, Karen J. McGREGOR of Colorado Springs, CO; a sister Madeline CHORNOPYSKI of Irondequoit [NY]; and 5 grandchildren. Mr. KELLER was buried December 21 at the Evergreen Cemetery in Colorado Springs. "ARCHBALD - KLIMBAUER DIES AFTER BEING INJURED IN MINE" Archbald, PA, Aug. 22 [1924] - Matthew KLIMBAUER [sic], Sr., among the best known residents of Hill street, died almost instantly yesterday morning when a piece of coal fell, striking him on the head, in the Hudson Coal company colliery at Jermyn [PA]. The deceased was a devout member of St. Thomas Aquinas church and the Holy Name and other societies of the church. He was born in Germany and came to this country about thirty-three years ago, settling on Hill street, where he has resided ever since. Besides his widow he is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Fred SIMON and Mrs. Kenneth KEOGH, of this place; Mrs. Peter KELLY [KELLER], of Corning, NY, and Mrs. Richard COLEMAN of Chester, and three sons, Matthew, Frank and Cornelius, all of this place. The funeral will be held Monday morning with a high mass of requiem in St. Thomas church. Burial will be in St. Thomas cemetery. "MRS. KLEINBAUER DIES AT ENDWELL" Mrs. Margaret KLEINBAUER, 222 Wilson Ave., Endwell, NY, a former resident of Vandling [PA], died yesterday morning in Ideal Hospital, Endicott, NY, after a four-day illness. Born in Jermyn [PA], Mr. [sic] KLEINBAUER was the daughter of the late John and Anna WESTINGTON NAIZBY. She resided in Forest City [PA] and Vandling for a number of years prior to moving to Endwell some time ago. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church, Forest City. Her husband, Conrad, died six months ago. Surviving are two sons, John, Nort Arlington, NJ; Robert, Binghamton, NY; four daughters, Mrs. John GALVIN, Kenmore, NY; Mrs. Lester CONORON, Mrs. James SWINDLEHURST, and Mrs. Peter ZADVORNEY, all of Endicott; a brother, James NAIZBY, Waymart; and a sister, Mrs. Emerson BENNETT, Denville, NJ, and nine grandchildren.
