Welcome to Blondie's Home!
Please feel free to visit any and all of the links I have on this page. The main purpose of this site is to introduce my scoliosis site, so please visit that site if you choose not to visit any of my others. A little bit about me: I am from Corinth, Mississippi, which is located in the northeast corner of the state. I graduated valedictorian from Alcorn Central High School on May 25, 2000. My brother, David, graduated from Alcorn Central as valedictorian of his senior class as well. He's now a sophomore majoring in Economics at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. I graduated from Mississippi State University in May, 2003, with a BA in Economics. I am now a National Science Foundation GK-8 Fellow at the University of Mississippi where I am a graduate student in Economics. Please visit the new Ole Miss Economics page. I am an alumni member of the Epsilon Chi chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota, an international music fraternity for women on Mississippi State's campus. I sang second alto in the SAI choir, was the treasurer of this organization, and was #5 on the SAI intramural softball team. Check out the chapter link to see what they're all about (my little sis is the webmaster!). You can check the pics too! I'm in some of them. Also, check out the international link above if you're interested in becoming a member. Please visit my scoliosis web site. I developed this site so that my story could help others who have been diagnosed with scoliosis, the abnormal lateral curvature of the spine. It is very important to have your back checked annually for this potentially crippling disability because it could strike anybody and no one knows what causes most cases of it. Thanks! |
