Mack Edward Fulford was my father, his birthday was December 5, 1920 or 1921. I believe it was 1921. He might have been born in Jefferson County, Wadley Georgia. He was in the Marines during World War II and obtained injuries in the war. He married m mother Virginia Morse in Los Angles County, California, December 5, 1945. They lived in Montana after the war until he died in Alder, Madison County, Montana on February 15, 1994. His mother’s name was Kate Hutchins Fulford, his father’s name was Raymond Mack Fulford. The rest is very sketchy and may be inaccurate. My mother never met many of his family. She believes my grandmother Kate died young and my grandfather Raymond rema ried a Bessy, my mother doesn’t believe they had any children. She believes that there was a brother William or (Billy) Fulford with a twin sister Virginia, an older sister Frances, a brother Marion Fulford, a brother Carl Fulford, an older brother or Un le Edward Fulford and there may have been more siblings but she can’t recall. She believes that they originated from Georgia but that was probably 80 to 100 years ago. There might have been family located in South Carolina. She recalls the short time they lived in Fort Valley Georgia there was a family reunion, (possibly in West irginia) that they were not able to attend. She believes that my grandfather Raymond Fulford and his second wife Bessie lived in Fort Valley, Georgia for a short while, there may have been family in Decatur, Georgia. My father had a niece that they stay d with in Macon, Georgia when they first arrived in Georgia. My father’s Social Security Number was 433-14-3082. My great-grandfather's brother Jacob Hower married a Mary Magdaline Surface (Zerfas)b. 28 Sep 1833 in Warren Co., OH. This was on my grandmother's side. Can't determine her lineage. Also, his sister Christina Hower m. Ambrose Surface 19 Jun 1853. Ambrose was born 25 Apr 1831 probably Warren Co., OH. Don't know his lineage either.
