She married 13 October 1939, Salt Lake Temple, George Winder Whitaker, son of Charles Warren Whitaker and Susanna Paxton. He was born 6 February 1918, Provo, Utah. B. S. Degree from BYU 1938. ZCMI Salesman, Salt Lake City. Served in World War II in Navy as a Radar specialist; in Pacific theater of operation 10 months; at Tokyo at surrender; received medals for distinguished service.
