Maxine Vivian Doyle (Mrs. David Ford West) (1915-1998)

Maxine was born at Lehi on September 4, 1915 to Clara and James Doyle.  She was a graduate of Lehi High School, attended one year at BYU and is attending U. T. Tech. at Provo.  Maxine is active in Church and civic activities.  She has been a president and teacher in Primary and MIA; has taught Sunday School and Relief Society among numerous other assignments.  Maxine is a well-known artist throughout Utah for displaying and showing her many paintings–one of which is in the collection of the college at Provo.  She is also very active in civic affairs–garden club, fire auxiliary, art groups, etc.

She married David Ford West; son of Vivian Nathional and Mary Jane West.  The most important time in the lives of Ford and Maxine was when they took their three young sons to the Salt Lake Temple on April 9, 1952 and were married and sealed for time and all eternity. 

 

Children of Maxine and Ford West:

David Ford West, Jr., born at Pleasant Grove, Utah on August 29, 1937; married Joan Johnson September 10, 1951.  They have one son, David Ford West II.

Stanley Vaughn West, born February 18, 1939 at Lehi, Utah; married Geraldine Hooley on August 13, 1958.  They have one son, Anthony Ray West, born May 7, 1972.

Vivian Layne West, born October 11, 1949 at Provo, Utah.  Layne has filled a mission to the Japan West Mission; has been involved in studies at the BYU and filled his duty in the armed forces.  He looks forward to marriage and being married in the temple in the future.
