Phillip Otto Smith, born 31 August 1902, Snowflake, Arizona.  Residence: Salt Lake City, Utah.  Graduate of Dixie College, 1931.  School Teacher.  Mission, Swiss-Geman, 1929.  Active in Seventies Quorum; S.S. teacher in many wards; chorister in S.S., MIA, etc.  He married 16 May 1931, St. George Temple, La Vern Allen, daughter of John Butler Allen and Levinah Emmaline Wilson.  She was born 6 February 1905 at Panguitch, Utah.  Graduate of Dixie College, 1927.  Taught school 5 years.  Pres. of MIA at Panguitch; Relief Society leader.
