Paul Smoot Dixon, Jr. (1932-1992)

The Theodore Turley Family Book, p. 516 (Nov. 1977)

Paul is a sensitive, hard working Church worker who has a strong testimony of the Gospel.  Service to others has long been one of Paul's finest qualities. He has expressed this talent as a missionary in southern California where he served as secretary; as Elders Quorum president in Bonneville Stake for nine years; as a guide on Temple Square; as a ward clerk; as a Priesthood teacher; and as Stake Special Interest Leader in the Salt Lake Grant Stake.  His family also benefits greatly by Paul's interest and service.  He has always been close to his nieces and nephews and has been so generous with his time and talents.

Born in New York City Febr. 25, 1932, Paul developed a keen interest in American History while living in the midst of the historical excitement of the early colonial era. When Paul was 13 years old his family moved to Salt Lake City where he attended East High School and the U. of Utah, graduating in 1956 in the field of political science.  He became interested in the Insurance business and has continued in that field to the present time.
