The following information was received by Wallace F. Gray by e-mail on July 8, 1999, from JoAnn Hedrick. She gives us the children of Frances Kimberley [daughter of Theodore Turley and Mary Clift] and her husbands Benjamin Franklin Parsons and Thomas William McIntosh as follows:

I am the descendant of Theodore Turley through his daughter Frances Kimberley. She married Benjamin Franklin Parsons and had:

Frances Isabel "Belle" Parsons, b.30 Jun 1865 San Bernardino, Ca. Married John C. Button on 14 Sep 1886 in Colton Ca. He was supposed to be a Senator's son from Wisconsin.

Benjamin Franklin Parsons, Jr., b.6 Jun 1868 in San Diego Ca. Married Maria Sosa Stewart in 1891.

Theodore Augustus "Guss", b.21 Feb 1873 in San Diego, Ca. Married Mary I Mack and died on 23 Jan 1943 in Burlingame, San Mateo, Ca. He is buried in San Mateo, Ca.

Maud M. Parsons b.8 Dec. 1875 in San Diego, Ca. Married to Fred A. Button of Colton, San Bernardino, Ca. I think he is a relative of John C. Button married to Belle Parsons.

Netty Parsons, b.4 Aug 1871 in San Diego, Ca., d.13 Aug 1871 in San Diego, Ca.

Frances Kimberley Turley Parsons married again after Benjamin F. Parsons died in 1878. Her second husband was Thomas William McIntosh, b.12 May 1832 in Bedford, Oldham, Ky. They were married on 24 July 1879 in Colton, San Bernardino, Ca. Frances and Thomas had:

Sarah Estella, b. 2 Jul 1880 in Colton, San Bernardino, Ca., married Charles E. Rouse.

Lee b. 21 Jul 1882 in Colton, Ca. Married a woman named Cassie.

Clarence C. b. 19 Mar 1886 in Colton, Ca. Married Melta Lee.

Viola b.14 Nov 1886 in Colton, Ca. Married Earl Dunn.

My grandfather was Theodore Augustus "Guss" Parsons, who went by the last name of McIntosh in his school documents. He married Mary I Mack who was born in Omaha, Neb. She died in 1938 in Burlingame, San Mateo, Ca. They had:

Francis Augustus, b.4 Jan 1898 in San Francisco, Ca. Married Lillian McIntosh. d. January of 1969 in Sacramento, Ca.

Viola d. 1938 in Santa Rosa, Ca.

Thelma Lillian, b. 8 Jul 1900 in Redlands, San Bernardino, Ca. married #1 - Sanford Day on 8 Jul 1915 in San Jose and #2 - Ernest Henderson on 29 Aug 1935 in San Jose. d. 2 Feb 1985 in San Jose, Ca.

Helen May, b. 4 Oct 1901 in Mill Creek Canyon, Redlands, Ca. Married Fred Alpen

Lee Lawrence, b. 19 Feb 1905 in Ca. Married Gwen Corn. d. 15 Apr 1997 in Red Bluff, Ca.

Theodore Benjamin b. 11 Jun 1910 in Santa Barbara, Ca. Married Lois Lillian Fairchild. d. 30 Nov 1979 in Palo Alto, Ca of pancreatic cancer.
