Zion's Hymn Of Praise

    Oh, Father in Heaven, thy children now praise thee.
    Praise thee for blessings bestowed from above.
    Praise thee from valley, from seashore and mountains
    For thy great manifestations of love.
    Praise thee that angels have flown down from Heaven
    Bearing the gospel of Jesus to man.
    Praise thee that we in this last dispensation
    Are made partakers of this Gospel plan.

    Chorus

    From hilltop and mountains the saints shout hosanna
    From seashore and islands their glad voices raise.
    From desert and valley they join the glad chorus,
    Singing and shouting their great Maker's praise.

    Oh Father we thank thee that we are found worthy
    To represent thee as servants on Earth,
    That we are commissioned by Jesus, our Savior,
    To teach the nations the Gospel's great worth.
    Father, we thank thee that keys have been given
    Opening the doors to the prison of sin
    That those who have died without hearing the Gospel
    Yet thy great presence may enter within.

    Chorus

    Oh Father, we thank thee that temples have risen
    Where the tall mountain tops point to the sky.
    Where the soft tropical winds of Hawaii
    Kiss the Pacific's broad bosom near by;
    Where the Canadian snowdrifts and forests;
    Where Arizona's hot deserts of sand. Father,
    In love hath this blessing been scattered
    Over the face of this great promised land.

    Chorus

    Hosannah, hosannah, hosannah, hosannah!
    Let hilltops and mountains and valleys rejoice.
    Let desert and ocean, let seashore and islands;
    Let all thy creations to praise thee give voice.
    Let mortals, thy greatest creation still praise thee
    Forsaking all evil and doing thy will
    That all of thy children, departed or living,
    May throng all eternity, worship thee still.

    Chorus
