Our next reunion is scheduled for August 11-14, 2005, at Aunt Trudy and Uncle Grant's home in Hurricane Utah. Make your plans early and c'mon down for a terrific time! We're hoping to see as many of you there as possible. In beautiful and historic southern Utah, near the Gould shearing corrals and Gould Wash, you'll feel the history of your ancestors as you touch hearts and rekindle the love and friendships of family.
This "Get To-Gather" is for EVERYONE: Family, Friends, Cousins, Moms, Dads, Kids, Aunts, Uncles, Brothers, Sisters, Grandmas and Grandpas, once-removed, steps, halves, ex's, etc. Once family, always family!! There will be games of all kinds. The sitting kind for those who'd rather not get up and run in the sun and plenty of active games for those who DO! As you well know ...whenever you get the Canova "Originals" together there's non-stop laughter... GUARANTEED!! There may even be a few surprises. We'll have our annual auction to supplement the family organization budget for mailings, the family dinner, genealogy and other expenses. Bring your crafts, white elephant items, artwork, secret recipe bottled pie filling, etc. Use your imagination and get creative! And, as always, there will be a fish pond for the little ones!! (So remember to bring any small kid-safe items you'd like to donate to the fish pond.) The friday night family dinner will be a barbecue at Trudy and Grant's home. Bring your own meat, the whole family, a pot luck dish and join us for a fun dinner and a memorable time. |
