I've done some stupid things in my life - haven't we all? Those stupid things are called sin and that's exactly what Jesus came to do - save us from sin. He tells me "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God," Romans 3:23, but he also gives me the hope that "if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness," I John 1:9.   How can I be sure of God's love? He confirmed it when he sent his son, Jesus, to the world. "For God so loved the world he gave his only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life," John 3:16

If you haven't met my friend yet - all you have to do is invite him into your life.  You can do that with a simple prayer such as this one: "Dear Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe that you are God's son, sent to die as payment for my sin. Thank you for dying for me. I accept your love and forgiveness. I ask you to be the Lord of my life. Come into my heart and cleanse it. Teach me your ways and let the Holy Spirit guide me from now on to be the kind of person you would want me to be. Amen."

Yes, come to Jesus today if you haven't already. Receive him as your saviour and friend!
