Today's first - this is the first time Lianna fell off the bed! Lianna is fine but mama feels really guilty about it!.

I _have_ to update you all about my little wonder. She is talking a blue streak! Her words include: Papa, Mama, do do (nurse/nipple), Artoo (Arthur the aardvark), a-to? (ano ito? - what's this?), pi (fish - goldfish crackers), buto (button), bebuto (belly button), t'bi (tv), yum-yum (anything yummy), cack (clock), cooki (cookie and sometimes cooking), up (carry me). She also sings yi ya yi ya yi ya (to old macdonald). She recognizes a lot of words - if you say "night-night" she will pick up the nearest toy and hug, rock and pat it. "Kiss" will get you a kiss with a big ("mmm-mah!"). She knows tummy and nose (ilong), itsy-bitsy spider, chimes, hi, bye-bye, bulaga (peekaboo), ulo (head) ... I'm constantly amazed. AND she took four tiny steps all by herself last night!

Last night Lianna kissed me for the first time! I felt all mushy. :) Before that she would only kiss pictures of babies. She's getting a lot of new words too!

This is cute. This morning Lianna is still our sleeping beauty but it's time to go (to work/babysitter). So to wake her up Jay sings "Happy Birthday to you!". Get this - Lianna, with her eyes still shut, starts clapping her hands. I thought it was sooo precious!! My sweetie!

Ok so it's more like a 13 month checkup than a 12 month (she will be 13 months in 5 days). Anyway Lianna is 19 lbs 8 oz and her length/height is 28.75 inches. She is in the 25%ile, which our doctor said is fine (she has small parents). We have a new doctor - very supportive of bf. Apparently the doctor also bf her twins (until they self-weaned).
