1 stick (1/2) butter or margarine (not spread) softened 1 1/2 C sugar 2 tsp baking powder 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1/4 tsp salt 3 large eggs 1 tsp vanilla 4 oz unsweetened baking chocolate (melted as directed on box) 2 C flour 1/2 C powdered sugar |

In large bowl, mix on medium speed: butter, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and salt until creamy. Add eggs, vanilla and chocolate; beat until well blended. On low speed, add in flour until just blended. Cover and refrigerate 2 hours or until firm. Heat oven to 350^. Lightly grease cookie sheet with nonstick spray. Roll level measuring Tbsp dough into powedered sugar and place 1 1/2 inches apart on prepared cookie sheet. Bake 12 minutes or until tops are puffed and crackled.
