Jesus, Others & You
Hi Ladies! I want to thank the Lord for the ability to use the internet to share the saving grace of the Lord with others, to share my life's experiences, and to learn from and to teach others.
If you feel lonely, detached, numb, sad, it's normal. You're grieving all you've left behind, much like when a death or divorce happens. You aren't crazy. You will go through grief. And it's OK to cry! Those tears are a part of healing, don't keep them bottled up! You may feel cut off from your family and friends, but you are never cut off from God. He didn't bring you to where you are to abandon you. Even though God does great things in your life (and your move), there are going to be emotional lows that are a natural part of letting go. You aren't alone!
Claim this as your moving verse: "Do not call to mind the former things, or ponder things of the past. Behold, I will do something new. Now it will spring forth; will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, rivers in the desert" (Isaiah 43:18-19, NASB) This verse reminds us not to dwell in the past; that God will do something new and eventually it's going to be obvious. Even though you're in an unknown place, He'll make a way for you, and bring refreshing waters of new life to your withering heart. What a wonderful reminder that God brings about new things! And with our Lord, there is always hope for the future!
