I found your site by checking my guest book. This brought tears to my eyes. As you may know I work in an OB/Gyn office and can so much understand this. It is heartbreaking to see this type of thing happen, but sad as it is these things do happen. It is no something that we will ever understand. I have had patients with simaliar thing happen and each time it breaks my heart. These patients become a part of us as they spend 9 months with us. I get to know them as people and friends. When a tradgedy like thi happens it honestly breaks my heart. I have cried so many times. I am sure your little angel was beautiful. You must, as hard as it is, know that she is in a better place. You hang on to those memories as they are precious and can never be replaced

What a beautiful page and a wonderful memorial. My baby brother Adam had CdLS and was with us for 6 years. I was only 9 when he died and it's been 15 years now. He touched my life and changed it, and even after 15 years, I get teary-eyed once in awhile Thanks you for the poem "Heaven's Very Special Child". I was looking for that everywhere. His gravestone has those very words on it in reference to that poem. During his funeral, I remember looking up and seeing him sitting on a ledge watching us rem mber his life. He was whole and had both arms like a normal 6-year old. He smiled and I knew he was in a better place. I still feel him near sometimes. Now I know he has a little friend to play with! :-)

I was so sorry to read your story. It brought back a lot of memories for me. My son had cancer. We were in the hospital constantly. He died when he 9 months. I was only 18 when he died. So I know the pain ya'll must feel My heart goes out to you and your amily.
