Charlene Barnhart Fri Jan 3 16:28:03 1997 Looking for information on Euart Barnhart, who in 1895 census was living in Aitkin Co. Kimberly twp with wife Ette E. (Rathburn) and children, Elsis b. c. 1886; Harley and Mary. Euart was the son of George W. and Susannah Grover Barnhart who moved to Ottertail Co. MN. in 1879. Other children were James, John. Phillip; Cynthia, who m. Martini and lived in Wadena Co.; and Hannah who m. Hugh McConville, she moved west, have not found her. Also trying to find when Euart's father, George W. Barnhart died and where he is buried. He too was living in the 1895 census in Ottertail Co. Also looking for Wm. H. Gardner who m. Susan Barnhart, she was the dau. of James Barnhart, son of Geo. W. and Susannah Grover Barnhart.

Ron Hanson Wed Mar 19 10:37:13 1997 Isabelle McCulloch, daughter of George and Faye. Born in Tintah on March 23, 1895. Siblings: George, Fred and Genevieve. I am looking for any information about Isabelle's parents; particularly anything which would help me trace them back to their country of origin. Isabelle is my grandmother.

Resided on various Homesteads in and around Aitken from 1887 up to 1910. Enna died on July 26, 1899 and is buried at Aitken. Thank you. Donald Holevinski Mon Mar 17 22:09:24 1997 MORTON, ANDRSON . Looking for history of my mother and her family. She was born Arlene Judith Hazel Morton, in Bain Mn. Aitkin County on 10/11/1924 to the parents of Lloyd Walter Morton and Ella Mabel Anderson Morton. Lloyd is listed as having been born in Thief River Falls Mn., but I havn't found a birth certificate for him yet. He is listed as a railroad section foreman for the railroad. Ella was born in Ashby, Grant County, Mn. to John and what looks like Aluia Anderson. Their birth place is listed as what looks like Swed.

Teri Gregg July 29,1996 I am searching for information on Lloyd C. Fraser (born in Madison Lake, MN, 1898) and Clara Sohie Nelson ( born in Kimbrae, MN in 1892) of Tamarack. They married there in 1922. Also looking for information on Peter and Mary Nelson who were Danish immigrants and also lived in Tamarack probably in the early 1900's.

Sharon Wed Aug 13 22:06:21 1997 Pearl (MACHON) MOUNTwas mentioned as married woman and heir in family will in Norfolk County Ontario Canada in 1946. It stated she resided in Aitkin.Minnesota. She was the daughter of Emma Jane (CROCKETT) MACHON who I believe remarried to a Dr. J.A.Paterson I don't know if they resided there before that as Emma is not mentioned in will , so I assume she was deceased. BJ Kunowsky Tue Sep 9 16:58:54 1997 My great grandparents, GEORGE AND MARGARET WARNER, were in McGregor prior to 1917, as Margaret died there on June 9. Several of their children also lived there. I know Lyman and Ethel grew up ther. Ethel married Rick Ecklund. George died in 1950, Lyman died in 1966. I remember the fishing cabin that Lyman had. Would like obituaries most of all. Any other county information would also be appreciated.

MN Died Queensland Australia 1956 married Esther (FISHER) HATHAWAY, born abt. 1905 in Salem, OR children: Everett HATHAWAY Vivian HATHAWAY Jess HATHAWAY was a Skilled cane rattan chair weaver Rented or owned a furnature repair shop (in aprox.1930) at: 424 CEDAR AVE S MINNEAPOLIS , MN 55454 (US) at the time they lived above the shop Grandfather Jess HATHAWAY Worked in the Tacoma, WA shipyards during WWI (1914-1918) Jess HATHAWAY worked and stayed with wife and two small children at a tourist cabin that led up in a row of three cabins, from the dirt road (1930-1931) My grandfather Jess HATHAWAY and grandmother collected sap from the maple trees and boiled it down in this cabin, and jarred it for sale in the spring This road was on the School Truck (a flat bed truck with an wooden enclosure, with benches along the walls and a wood stove for the winter cold ) schoolbus route near shovel Lake atkin Co. (Aprox. 1930) The Tourist cabins were more like hunting cabins and were owned by a widow woman, that always dressed in mens clothes when she worked around the place. Jess HATHAWAY was known to have lived in Atkin MN as well as the Brainard, Shovel Lake,area and in Atkin, Crow Wing, Wadena, Otter tail, Cass, countys... A Known Friend was Arthur Lloyd HAKE (later my father) who worked for Clyde MORROW in his saw mill and married Eve (Hawk) HAKE in Atkin, MN Jess HATHAWAY was a Skilled candy maufacture and owned a candy manufactureing store in Newport, OR and in MN Jess HATHAWAY had four sisters: 1...Maude HATHAWAY 2...Nora HATHAWAY... 3...(?) 4...(?) ...The sisters stayed in MN because Jess HATHAWAY visited them several times in MN... ...one of the girls married a man named PETERSON
