Guess what? The rains have stopped! The weird thing is that they won't start again until November! It is now HOT and getting HOTTER by the day! On Wednesday it rained for the morning, then at about 3pm the clouds blew out and the SUN started to do its thing here! It is awesome! Talk about a quick turn around! Wednesday we had the heat on and today we have the AC on! Is so funny that even after 5 weeks of rain, it gets so intense here that was watering the lawn on Sat! Work was ok, nothing to report there.
Cheri had cold this week, and that was poopy cause Monday was her birthday. We tried, and did a decent job of taking care of Mom, but she was really bad off for the beginning of the week! She did say that we did pretty good and she appreciated it. The girls did the cake decorating and it sure was a "busy" looking cake! Sure was good though! Still waiting for her birthday present from AAFES to show up. It was ordered on the 21st of April and still not here... oh well, there is proof that it was ordered, so I am off the hot plate!
All of the kids had the Moms in school Thursday for a breakfast "Tea". Not sure who enjoyed it more, the girls or Cheri. Caroline and Rebecca did a duet and Cheri said it was awesome! I sure wish she would sing for me. Caroline had a bake sale for Student Council and they made a killing! She was so proud!
Chelsea is amazed that tadpoles really do turn into frogs. Her class has watched quite a few of them change and have released them into the "wild". Now she has started collecting snails! The "fun" part is that they all get out of the box and are all over the patio when you walk out of the door in the mornings... CRUNCH. She sure collected a bunch of those things!

Guess what? Walt is coming to see us next weekend! Do any of y'all feel jealous? He comes in on the 20th and gets to be with us until the 27th! We are so lucky!
