This Week's Happening's!

This is the official last update for this page from Japan! I must say that we have really loved being here, and cherish the fact that being in the military allows us to live in foreign lands far and wide! The people have been great, and the country is just beautiful. The friends we have made are for a life time, and I just hope that "we" have the strength to keep in touch. I must say that I will not easily forget my time in Japan, or the other countries I was privy to visit durring my stay over here. Only 3 months shy of 5 years!!! I just wished that someone would have come to visit, and see this country.
Cheri and I had a good week, and to end it, the girls have a party on Friday night! 17 little girls, and one boy, and WOW... they sure can get LOUD! The party was a success, and I got it on tape! The girls got some really neat gifts from their friends too! Sat night was a party for Cheri and I from all friends and co-workers here at Misawa. It was a great time, and I sure was suprised, and honored at the turnout! Cheri got a real nice plack, and a georgous 3D flower in a frame! I got an awesome "shadow box" and as soon as I get reconnected in Spain, I will take a pic of it and post it! Some other neat gifts were given to us, and we cherish each and every one of them!
We have spent today realizing that we move to Billeting tomorrow! That is the "hotel" on base here! We got the laundry done, and have piles to mail! Tomorrow the FMO comes to get the loaner furniture back, and then we clean! Tuesday is the final inspection on the house, and then we wait for Friday to leave! I am excited, and I think the family is too!

The girls are doing good! They have not yet realized that this is their last week here... I think. They will get a wake up tomorrow after school, when we pick them up to go to Billeting! That will probably be a bummer for them, here is hoping all goes well!
We are inbound to Houston on Friday, and we will be there around midnight Houston time on Friday... I love the time changes... especially getting a whole day back when we go that direction!
