Well, the wind and rain has not stopped this week either! We have been blown away for 2 weeks now and the rain just rides in on a cloud, dumps and then clears out. So, the farmers are happy and the locals are just waiting the weather out. It is the beginning of Semana Santa (Holy Week) which is pretty cool! It goes from today (Palm Sunday) until next Sunday (Easter) and the Catholic religion of Spain PARTIES! It is very interesting and quite festive. After Easter is also the beginning of Feria Season which means that EVERY town has a week long fair! They are a blast! We are eagerly awaiting this years fairs!
Cheri had a week that consisted of a LOT of rain and the kids in the house due to it being Spring Break all week and raining! Wednesday we went to Utrera to Carlos and Bev's house and the kids all went wild and had a blast! We walked downtown to "the" pizza place and realized that in Spain, they like different kinds of cheese, and to an American palate, it tastes "WEIRD!" Other than that, she says that she had a great week with the kids!
Caroline says that she had a great time at the Pineiro's and that on Thursday she got to go to a movie! "Homeward Bound" was the show, and she really enjoyed it! She says that she enjoyed her spring break when it was not raining! Chelsea says that she had fun and played with her friends this week! The highlite of her week was today... between rain storms, she caught tadpoles! Got 36 of the little things before releasing them!
