This Week's Happening's!
18 October 1998
Busy, Busy, busy... that is how last week went. Had Monday off, and then crammed two weeks of work into 4 days! To top that off, had to make ready 2 teams for deployment, to include a pallet for one of the teams! Tony kept up, but will probably take him a week or two to realize what he just did!
Cheri has been the busy body of the family! She has gotten the house ready to be packed up! They come in here tomorrow to pack it, and then Tuesday to finish, and then take it away. We have spent the last two days making sure that all that needs to be thrown away is OUT of the house. Then the final laundry, in a little bit, we are going to pack our suitcases so we know that all that we want to take will fit, then hide them in Phil's old room (that is the "safe" room) so that we will have clothes in route to Spain, and then the clothes we will be lugging around with us here! Cheri and I lost our bed yesterday! The floor sure is hard, and we don't get the loaner stuff until Tuesday afternoon!!! We are just hoping that the packers leave an isle to the girls beds for tomorrow night!
Phil is doing good. He got a job!!!!! The bummer, is that Jerry is leaving to come back over here and get married on the 9th of Nov. So from then on... he is ON HIS OWN! He is gamefully employed though, and that really helps! He can make it! The girls are doing good! Caroline has started "worrying" about every little thing lately. "Why are we driving this way?" "What are we looking at that for?" "WHY, WHY" So we asked if it was because she was worried about the move, and she confessed, so we assured her that the job to worry was ours, not hers! She is better now! Chelsea, she doesn't care one way or the other! Cheri had a hard time convincing Caroline to get rid of a lot of stuff, Chelsea just tossed it! School is great for them both still, and they too are getting real excited about the upcoming move and vacation!
We are officially going to be offline on the 30th of October, but we are going to be without a computer starting in about 30 minutes!!! (it is 1941 our time!)
