Well.... Sorry that it has been almost a month since the last installment, but it seems to have gotten busy!
Work for me us now on the quiet side again, but the last few weeks have had me employed, to say the least! I am doing good and am realizing that it is definately summer now. Sweating like an animal, but liking it all the same!

Cheri is enjoying the heat and the pool and all that summer promises to deliver! She has been doing great and is so glad that school is finally out. She was due for a long break from all of those kids! Not that the kids were too much, just that the school was more than enough! She has had a few days off now and is liking it quite nicely!

The end of school brought a lot of things to the girls. Chelsea was recognised for her math skills! She had to do 100 multiplication problems in 15 minutes and the top score was a 98, and it was hers! She also got an "Organized" award! She had the most organized and neatest desk all year long! Trust me, her teacher was such a fanatic about a neat desk that she would dump the kids desk out and have them clean it up! Chelsea did NOT want that happening, and she got an award for her efforts! To top it off, she got the 3rd grade equivalent of straight A's for this grading period!
Caroline was again a straight A student! She also got an award... she was entered into a contest with over 18,000 other stories. 800 were selected for the book "Showcase" and Caroline had her story printed! The book is a DoDS (Depart of Defense Schools) production from kids entries from all over the world! She was so surprised! Happy, but SO surprised! We get a copy at the beginning of the school year, so I don't know where to tell you to get one.

GI Search is where anyone that has been a GI, or a Civilian on a base, or just looking for a GI can go and see if you can find them. Please pass this on to anyone you know who can use it!
