This Week's Happening's!

23 May 1999

WOW!!! Yes it is true! We are back online, and back into the swing of almost normalcy! We have moved on base and have a real phone, and air conditioning (thank goodness) and all the rest that living onbase has to offer! If anyone is interested, the phone number here is 011-34-95-584-8533. Not too many numbers to punch! I do hope that is correct, it is the one the operator gave me!

Well, I will tell you one thing... this is a great house! It is actually bigger on the inside than the "big" off base house we had! Cheri has done an awesome job of getting it set up! It sure is nice being on base, although I do miss the community that we lived in, not to mention the pool in the backyard! All in all, I have my shed to go play in, and wandering around is not a problem here! Not much to mention about work, cause I am still on leave! Go back on Tuesday! Let the fun begin again!

Cheri is up to her old things again! She gets to "walk" to the gym now, and to the store, and to whatever else she wants to go to onbase! Well, we all get to walk, or ride our bikes, or even drive! Small base makes all three options available! She has her house set up, and has been relaxing! I know that she will be happy when I go back to work! We had fun together, but y'all know how that goes... get out of my house has probably been running through her head since last Tuesday! She is so happy to be back online! She says for all of y'all to be ashamed! We have not been able to be online in so long, and only a couple of e-mails! Not cool!!! Oh well, we are just as guilty!

The girls are doing great! They love being able to ride their bikes to school again! The little stinkers actuall take longer to get home from a block and a half than it took the bus to get them 8 miles! Talk about a time warp! All of it in kid speed! They are good, and getting ready for a big school play at the end of the year! They both have big parts and are excited.

As you have seen... we are here and having a blast! Come by whenever you feel like it, and we will do it up right!
