Cheri is one more day away from being done witht the Girl Scout Cookies for the year! She is excited about that! They have sold a LOT of cookies, and on a base this small, they did an awesome job! That was what she did the most of last week... not much out of the norm of doing the school lunch thing, the Girl Scouts and taking care of us. Tuesday she escaped to Rota for the day and made her favorite discovery... Pepsi 1 is now being stocked down there! She fell in love with that when we slipped through the States last December. She went to a "lunch" Ladies get-together on Friday and she said it was real nice.
The girls had a good week of cookie sales and Chelsea went back up on Thursday to show some of the younger girls "how" to sell the cookies! She can convince almost anyone to buy, even though they had already bought! Caroline is stretching a little bit. Trying to see what else is out there, and the sad thing is that there is NOTHING else out here. She is such a good trooper though. She will get frusterated, then just shake it off and out she goes.
Work for me is normal. Having a hard time with the new math... boss says that noone can have any time off, but I have 6 people for 4 positions... makes it REAL tough to get the math straight, and keep the "kids" interested at work. Oh well, we have an IG Inspection at the end of Feb, that will calm the place down when it is over! Ping factor on a base this small is not too much fun!
I am telling y'all, that FireTalk thing is awesome! Alicia, Kevin Pope, Lance and Sam have downloaded it, and Cheri and I are having a blast talking to SOMEONE from our list every day!
