This Week's Happening's!

26 October 1999

If anyone is interested, the phone number here is 011-34-95-584-8533. If it is busy... we are online!
Also, if anyone has AOL Instant Messenger, we are Heyspain, or if anyone has ICQ, our numbers are 2731422. SOMEONE has to have it! Look us up, and lets get connected!

Work is the same challenge that it has been for the past 10 1/2 months! Yes, it has been that long, as of now... 1 year, 1 month, 1 week and 1 day till we are able to leave here! No, we are not counting or anything! I just thought that was a pretty neat thing to know... 1, 1, 1, 1, .... cool, huh?!!! Just trying to show the youngin's that work for me the correct way to do a job, and not get into trouble, and stay in the Air Force, and off of my short list, all at the same time. Different challenges with each and every one of them! Have a Halloween Carnival this weekend that the Booster Club is putting on. Had to make someone else do the work on this one, I have to work this weekend, and it is about time that some of the other officer's do their jobs! Feels good to just "overlook" instead of being overtasked!

Cheri is doing good! She is not too happy with the RAIN! Yes, it has started the rainy season, and it rains just as much as it heats up in the summer! WOW... it does come down... for days! Girl Scouts have kept her busy... Calendars to get sold, whatever else there is to do! The two of us went to a "Hail and Farewell" for people that just got here, and are about to leave... had a great time! Was the first ANYTHING since we have been here that I did not have to work the next day! Was nice to be able to go! Cheri did look good!

The girls are doing awesome! Caroline is running for Student Council Secretary! Tomorrow is the elections, and she is so nervous! It has been a hoot all week watching all of the kids get wrapped up in the entire process! She only has one other candidate for Secretary, and they are best friends, so they are saying that they are not too worried, but you can see that they each want to win for themselves! I am pulling for my kid! Chelsea is the free spirit of the house! 3rd grade and running the show! She has a new Frog Tatoo on her arm, and she sure thinks that she is "all that!" What a set of kids that we have! Talk about being blessed! Chelsea had to write a recipe for Bubble-Gum Cake last week, and we are waiting for this to make it's way home! We will send it to everyone when we get it!

Well, the rainy season has started. That is not a bad thing... has been 8 months since the last rain shower... now it is every other day... things turning green though! Far cry from the brown summer we had!

We are all doing great, just plugging along like the good little Military Family that we are! Not much to remark on, just trying to keep the faith and have a good time while we are here!

If you have missed previous installments, I have added a new page! It will have all the previous week's happening's on it! Go check out previous to get up to date!
