Well, as you all know, we got our rip that says we are going to Georgia! Moody AFB Georgia to be exact... and this is what I will be doing! The assignment is in Valdosta and we are just as excited as can be. There is lots to do there, including an amusement park and a lot of other things... the newspaper is a good source of information that we have. So here we come! Early January is when we have to be there, and we can't wait!
Cheri is on track and looking far and wide for real estate stuff in Georgia so that we have how ever much of a head start that we can get. Just plugging along and in marvel at how fast the summer went by! The last week with Tooter here was a definate high point of her tour here! She is glad that summer is done... one more step that brings us closer to home. Yes, she uses calendar events to log time!
Tooter seemed to have weathered the storm and all of the traveling that she had to do to get here and back. She is back in Texas now and from what I hear, she is bragging about the world traveler that she is! I tell you one thing, we walked her "Keds" off her feet! She did not realize that the "way of life" here is so out in the open and family oriented. I am glad that she had a good time, and to let all of y'all know... we are pretty good host's, so either come now, or come in Georgia! We will be glad to "put you up" so to say!
The girls start school tomorrow and they are EXCITED!!! They sure are ready... showers done, hair dried, teeth brushed... just have to wait for bedtime! They will be in the same class this year, so we will see how that goes! We are confident that all will go well, they do get along great!
Rumor has it that my sister and a friend still might be on the way over in late September! Book your plans to come visit now! Quick! We leave in December! Thanksgiving will be here, but on paper plates probably!
