This was a pretty good week. Had nothing of great concern at work and this was my short week anyway! If anyone has forgotten, I work a 2-2-3 schedule. 2 on duty, 2 off duty, 3 on duty, then 2 off duty, 2 on duty and 3 off duty. That was two weeks and I only worked one of them! So, as I said, this was my short week and I did a whole bunch of nothing! Trying to get softball going and get people to show up. That is the frustrating thing here... "Sure, I will be there"... "Hey, have you seen (whoever)?" Every time... oh well, they will get theirs in turn! I know I will be there. Ready and able to play! The weather here is awesome, they just need rain real bad! The country is in a 3 year drought and they need the water down here very much.
Cheri is back on to her thing! She is walking and crafting and even starting to do the "Spring" cleaning thing! She had a quite uneventful week and can't think of a thing to report for the week! Had Beverly and Carlos and kids over today for hamburgers and hot dogs... had a good time with great friends.
The girls had eye and ear tests this week and it is true, they can see and hear. The basketball report is pretty neat, Chelsea's team won both games this week and Caroline's team got whipped pretty good. They are enjoying it and are getting a whole lot better than they were last week. I can't believe how involved some of the parents get, or even some of the coaches. I want to say thanks and that I am so glad that my folks were just dang good fans... not the jerks that I have seen as both a kid and as an adult.
