This Week's Happening's!

This week was a good one... getting the grass to come back after it was cut too short before we moved in, and two weeks without being watered. The heat here will kill it FAST! Almost have to water it every day! Every other day is almost too little! The yard has 3 different types of grass in it... and the predominant one is not suited for hot climates! Military at it's best! Any way, it is green again, and growing well! I always wanted a big yard, and after an hour and a half just to mow it, I wonder why I used to want one.... oh yeah.... it looks good when it is clean and green!

Work is good, all in all. Just the growing pains of having people that are TDY, and could care less what happens if they don't do what is needed. Thank goodness the 2nd in command of their squad cares... but otherwise, I am not complaining!

Cheri has all the pictures up, and the house is done! She likes to kick back in the evening and look at a job well done! And what a good job that is! If anyone has seen Cheri's house before, I must say that this one is the best yet! There are only 2 boxes left... one in each of the girls rooms, and that is winter clothes, and it is all put away, and organized, and looks good! She likes being able to walk where she wants on base.... because it is not that big! You can litterally stand in "the" field and see every building! Talk about convienient!

The girls are ready for their play! They have been practicing, and getting all their lines down pat! They are so excited! They have gotten into the swing of being one of the "neighborhood" kids, and know that they have the run of the "lot" here! They have even been coming out for Sat morning baseball that I help out with! They are pretty good too! They must get that from someone I know...!!!

As you have seen... we are here and having a blast! Come by whenever you feel like it, and we will do it up right!
