The day before Halloween!!! What can be going on here in Spain??? Well, the kids are psyched and the adults are more excited! There will be the Trick-or-Treating, a Carnival (where I will be running a shooting gallery) and even a Haunted House. The people of this base have worked themselves to the bone to get this done, and we are going to have a blast! I am going to be a Cowboy (to go along with Carlos' Bandito) and Cheri is going to be a "Cat faced" lady! Caroline is going to be a "Hippie" from the early 70's! Chelsea chooses to be Spiderella!
Well... one week left before the house gets packed up again! Sure is going by fast now! "They" pack our house out except for a very few select items on 6 Nov, then we will have the rest shipped out on 27 Nov. So the final push to have all of our stuff ready is NOW! We are up to the task!
Did you hear??? Got some big news for everyone! My sister got married! Way to go Lo! Welcome to the insanity Abu! Good luck to the both of you!
Guess where we are going to live when we get to Georgia! At the "Grassy Ponds Campground"!!! They have a 250 acre lake with onsite fishing liscense, nature trails, paddle boats, john boats, volleyball courts, a lodge with gameroom and food bar... and we will be staying in a 2 bedroom cabin! Sure beats a hotel room! What a way to start a new assignment! On vacation!

The girls are great! They are thrilled to be staying at the campgrounds! They want to go fishing everyday with me! That is awesome! Chelsea asked if she could go hunting with me, so I asked her if she knew what it was... of course when we told her what it was she was squirming saying NO WAAAAYYY!!! At least they will fish... or so they say! Caroline is going to loose her ONLY friend that lives on the base tomorrow, she is moving to Nebraska. So this week should be fun, not. That girl sure puts her emotions on her sleeve.
Halloween is an event that all the kids are looking foreward to! The school is trying to let the kids do it in the classrooms, but as most of y'all know... all of the religious influences will not let Halloween be celebrated in the school. (editorial: I sure wish people would leave well enough alone... can't pray before a game, can't dress up for Halloween... PICK A BETTER FIGHT PEOPLE... thanks!) The school is doing a dress up as your favorite character from your favority book and do a report on the book... all on Halloween! It is NOT Halloween though, don't want to offend anybody around here.

Well, as you all know, we got our hard copies that say we are going to Georgia! Moody AFB Georgia to be exact... and this is what I will be doing! The assignment is in Valdosta and we are just as excited as can be. There is lots to do there, including an amusement park and a lot of other things... the newspaper is a good source of information that we have. So here we come! Early January is when we have to be there, and we can't wait!
