Well, the Chief who is in charge of hiring for the job in Moody AFB GA shot me an email that says "AFPC is loading your assignment... should hear something in 2-3 weeks." So, to say the least, I am excited and hopeful. Cheri doesn't want to jinx it so she is not saying anything until we know for sure, in writing, that we got it. We have scoped out Valdost GA extensively though. Minot, we know all about that area of the country... so we are concentrating all efforts in the Georgia area! Talk about an awesome location! Trust me, y'all will all know when we get it in writing!
Cheri is working on her "move" planning mode now! Trying to figure out what we need and want to take to the States, and all of that which takes place. We have 4 months left, so the time is now to make sure all is ready! She has begun to look around and take stock of all that we do have. Should be a great garage sale from what I see!
The girls had a great week and can hardly stand the wait on orders. Well, Caroline can hardly stand it... Chelsea is the same, just doesn't rile her any. They had a campout Thursday night with the Camp Adventure and they had a great time! Slept most of the day Friday! Good lazy summer days are here... hot, but they don't care... just take 'em to the pool and all is well!
Rumor has it that my MOM is coming in mid August and that my sister and a friend might come over in late September! Book your plans to come visit now! Quick! We leave in December! Thanksgiving will be here, but on paper plates probably!
