This Week's Happening's!

7 March 1999

The stitches are out... the finger is healing nice, and it is not throbbing... All in all... I can type again! Sorry for the delay, but I just was not willing to put up with the pain for ya! Not really... Just did not have the time, or any new inputs! I am sure that everyone gets tired of reading the same ole thing... week after week... Not much has happened, but it has been three weeks since the last one!

Cheri is doing awesome! She is back in the gym, and back to doing HER thing! She has a routine with the dog, and he has been doing great! Not too many "accidents"... he has had a few "on purpouse's" that are pretty much our fault. Oh well!

We finally decided on a car, it is an 86 Chevy Cavalier that we got for $1500, and we are hoping that it will hold up so that we can go back to the States with it and not have to worry about buying a car right when we get there again! Have had to do that for the last 2 moves, and it is not fun! Another bit of news is that we will move on base in early May! I don't want to leave the house off base, but it is best. The girls can play with their buddies, we will have heat and air-conditioning that we won't have to go buy (the houses off base have no heaters or ac's!). Also, and most important, we will have a "hardline" phone, instead of the satelite phone that we have now! That is the best part for me. We have the internet at the house... but have not been able to connect because the computer reads the static as not being connected, and we have not been able to stay connected for more than 4 minutes anyway!

The girls are doing great! They are in full swing of being kids and having a blast doing it! Girl Scouts and after school sports keep them going! Chelsea was "lead T-Rex" in a play that her class wrote earlier this week! So cute!

After we get the keys to the on base house, the computer is going over, and I will spend that night before the move updating pictures and whatnot! Keep checking!

As you have seen... we are here and having a blast! Come by whenever you feel like it, and we will do it up right!
